The Founders/Director
Margaret Wanjiru Mobote is the founder.
She was a social worker, and was deeply affected by her
experiences. So, she decided to help the orphaned children
who were abandoned becaouse of AIDS and HIV.
The Current Centre
The facility has three dormitories, a kitchen, a living room (used as a dining area), three toilets, and three bathrooms, and a classroom.
Source of their Funding
Their main source of funding comes from themselves through their poultry project and greenhouse program. They also receive donations from friends, locally and internationally, as well as from Lift the Children foundation.
Areas of Endeavor
They offer food, shelter, clothing, and education, as well as help with other basic needs.
Present Challenges
They need funds for food for children. They also need funds for constructing a permanent structure for the children’s dormitories, dining area and more classrooms.
