An orphanage in Mombasa, Kenya

The Founder: Pastor Robert Mueke

With a diploma in Theology and professionally trained in Human Resource Management, Pastor Robert has dedicated himself to helping alleviate poverty and suffering in East Africa. He started this centre with hopes to provide a better life to children in need and to help them develop intellectually, spiritually, physically and socially.

The Current Centre

Faith Children's Home rents their facility. It has one large dormitory and a sitting room. They rent another house for activities and schooling for the children.

Source of their Funding

They currently receive money from a local church, well-wishers, and from Lift the Children.

Areas of Endeavor

Faith Children's Home supports their residential children with food, shelter, and a home. They also provide schooling for all children, as well as HIV/Aids counseling for those who need it.

Present Challenges

Financial stability is their biggest challenge. They would like to be able to buy a plot of land to own their own home and ease the financial strain from the current rental costs.
