The Founders

The founder is a retired government school teacher, who wanted to improve the lives of the less fortunate by giving formal and informal education, clothing, shelter and food to the orphans in the slum area.

The Current Centre

Bella barely has enough space to provide housing and education for it’s residential children.

Source of their Funding

Well-wishers and the government of Kenya sometimes give basic needs such as food, clothes, toiletries. The Kijana Foundation in Holland sponsors approximately 30 childrens’ education. They also have support from volunteers.

Areas of Endeavor

Bella offers primary education, food and shelter.

Present Challenges

Bella struggles to feed both their residential children and their outreach children. Payment for the staff is needed, as well as payment for electricity.
